Bloom Loudly
Brand Identity Concept ✦ Packaging ExplorationEvery concept starts with an idea
This one started with a bunch of birthday flowers.
There was something about the unexpected mix of colours that made me wonder whether that feeling could become an entire brand.
To push the idea beyond a visual experiment, I developed a fictional client brief around a florist that makes every arrangement feel worth celebrating ↓
Bloom Loudly is a florist brand for people who buy flowers with intention—not out of habit.
Every arrangement should feel abundant and considered. The kind of arrangement you’d photograph before giving it away.
A name that needed to stand out
Research into other florist brands revealed a category filled with delicate details and elegant script fonts.
While that approach suited many of the businesses I found, it didn’t feel right for a name like Bloom Loudly.
The identity needed something with more presence: playful enough to capture the joy of receiving flowers and bold enough to live up to the name.
Shrikhand became the foundation of the identity.
Its weight gives the logo impact, while its expressive shapes bring the warmth and personality the concept needed.
Paired with contrasting typography and a simple flower device, it created an identity designed to feel joyful, confident and difficult to overlook.
Colour taken from something real
The original bouquet was always going to determine the colour palette.
Rather than beginning with colours chosen purely for aesthetics, I drew directly from the flowers, taking inspiration from the bright pink, deep purple, fresh green and moments of warm orange.
Together, they created a vibrant palette that retained the energy of the original inspiration while giving the identity enough contrast and flexibility to work across different applications.
Bloom Loudly was developed as more than a standalone logo.
The typography, colour palette and graphic elements were brought together across business cards, gift tags, stickers, campaign creative and packaging concepts.
Each application explores how the identity could move between bold brand moments and the smaller details that accompany the experience of giving or receiving flowers.
The result is a concept that feels expressive and playful, while still providing the consistency needed to remain recognisable ↓
